The Truth Isn’t Sexy Campaign
Welcome to a new campaign partnership from the NUS Women’s Campaign. The Truth Isn’t Sexy Campaign is a campaign against sex trafficking. It is about getting people to think about the issue of sex trafficking as they think about their involvement in the sex industry. It is not a campaign about morals, about the legalisation of sex work, or about telling people what to do. Its about getting people to challenge sex trafficking in a variety of ways in their everyday life.
The Campaign
The campaign is a visual one with striking posters and beer mats available to order from NUS. The idea is that the posters and mats hit your union bar in one go – with a massive visual impact. The materials themselves do the rest of the work.
Extras
If you want to take the campaign further there is a powerpoint presentation available, speakers on request and of course NUS peeps are always willing to come and help you run your campaigns on your campuses wherever we can.
