Protect women who report rape and sexual assault - write to your MP.
It was revealed in January that the government is ‘actively considering’ taking away anonymity from women who have alleged rape or sexual assault after criminal hearings have taken place. Such a change, if adopted, would mean that if a woman alleges rape, but the man she accuses is not convicted, her name would be released as somebody who ‘cried rape’. We would like to encourage you to write to your MP about this.
