Staff information days

This opportunity is directed at students’ union staff.

Aims
New for 2008, the Membership Development Department is offering four regionally-based one-day briefings to give students’ union staff an overview of NUS’ Officer Development Programme (ODP ).

Objectives
By the end of the day you will be able to

1. Identify what the ODP is and what it entails for the 2008-09
2. Identify what each course includes and what knowledge and skills you can expect your officers to return to the students’ union with.
3. Have the opportunity to offer feedback regarding the learning and development opportunities that NUS currently provides
4. Identify what new opportunities NUS could provide for your officers.

2008 dates

• 3 June: London, NUS HQ
• 11 June: South (Venue tbc)
• 13 June: North (Venue tbc)
• 18 June: Midlands and East (Venue tbc)
