Scotland United - Edinburgh

On February 20^th the racist English Defence League have organised an anti Muslim demonstration in Edinburgh. A number of racist attacks on Muslims followed their recent demonstration in Leeds and over 2000 turned up to drive them away from their last attempt in Glasgow.

NUS Scotland strongly opposes this march and the activities of this group, and have joined the Scotland United coalition to add our voice in opposition.

Join us to march for a multicultural Scotland on Saturday February 20^th assembling in Princess Street Gardens at 12:00.

If you want to help flyer before the event to drum up support, meet at the Mound for 1000.

NUS Scotland strongly urges you to either go straight to the march for 1200 or meet for flyering. We are aware other groups might want seperate meeting points but advise that you stick to the two above.
