The day will inform student union officers and staff about current and future quality assurance issues with a particular focus on how students’ unions drive the quality agenda in England and Wales.
The morning includes an overview by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) on understanding the quality assurance and academic infrastructure framework, as well as a Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) presentation on the new National Student Survey (NSS).
The afternoon provides a variety of workshops from a range of organisations and agencies, including the Association of Managers in Students Unions (AMSU) and the National Postgraduate Committee (NPC), NUS,and the QAA.
