A Framework for Fairness

The Government published proposals for a Single Equality Bill in Spring 2007; the aim of the legislation is to harmonise and update discrimination legislation which currently spans around 40 different pieces of legislation and provides inconsistent protection for different strands. This is NUS's response to the government's proposals, which is based on the policy and research of NUS Liberation campaigns.
