LGBT Society of the Year
FE and HE LGBT societies battled it out at LGBT Summer Conference in Coventry in June for the prestigious title of NUS LGBT Society of the Year.
The entries were of a particularly high standard, with excellent work being done across the UK by many societies to promote and support LGBT students in their unions.
The winners were:
HE Society of the Year: Leeds LGBT Students Assembly
FE Society of the Year: Loughborough LGBTA (incorporating a Royal National Institute for the Blind Vocational College and a mainstream FE College with an age range of 14 upwards)
