National Student Survey Handover WorkshopThursday 29 May, 10am-3pm | London
The National Student Survey is an important part of the annual cycle for all Unions, and this workshop is intended for teams of current and newly elected officers/staff members involved in the promotion or use of the National Student Survey to come together, exchange key information and learn how to get the most out of the NSS.
As well as being a good early networking opportunity, this workshop can help unions to learn from the past and those that have used the NSS effectively to establish how best it can be used in the future, and find out how to use it to realise change that will be valued by everyday students in your institution.
By the end of the workshop, current officers or staff will have had the opportunity to contribute their experience of the NSS to enable effective planning for their successors and other unions, and new officers and staff members will be able to hit the ground running for NSS 2009 and be ready to receive their 2008 results, after developing a clear strategy and vision for how the NSS can be used to positively shape the student academic experience at their institution.
Who's this event aimed at?
Current officers involved in the NSS and their successors, or alternatively officers and union staff members who will assist with the promotion of the NSS and its results. There are a maximum of 2 places available for each students' union.
Date and location:
Thursday 29th May, 10am - 3pm (UCL Students' Union, London)
