FE Student Leadership Programme 06/07

FE Student Leadership Programme 06/07

Amplifying the Voice of Learners in the Learning & Skills Sector

Across the UK in November

This three day residential training package gives Student Leaders in FE the skills, knowledge and confidence to make an effective and valuable contribution to their College.

Designed specifically around the needs of Students' Union, Guild, Association and Council Officers and Reps, delegates take part in tutor sessions, briefings, roleplays and workshops. It also provides students with the opportunity to network with other student leaders. Training is accredited and can lead to a level 3 qualification through the Open College.

Network (OCN)

The programme will be delivered regionally, in high quality venues across England. The course has been designed to develop the leadership skills of student leaders, helping to build confidence, motivate and develop each delegate. The course involves the development of practical leadership skills via the use of interactive role-play sessions. A personal development programme will be identified for each delegate as part of the course

It's a tailor-made training, networking and support package run by The National Union of Students (NUS) in conjunction with the Centre for Excellence in Leadership (CEL).
