About the course

Cultivating the habit of reviewing progress on a regular basis supports our ability to develop, grow in confidence and make the most of future opportunities. We recognise that the transformation from student activist to union officer involves an intense period of learning, and consolidation of this learning into practice. This workshop will enable you to reflect on what you have achieved and learnt during your time in office in order to clarify and prepare for the next steps in your career.

Objectives

• Explore and clarify personal values and wants

• Assess skills, abilities and capacities

• Identify and set SMART career, work and life goals

• Draw up a personal action plan to implement these goals
