Audience
Officers with primary responsibility for communications within the union and the democratic support and development of student media.

Aim
This course will prepare officers to return to their union, ready to review and develop their union’s approach to communicating with their membership and participate fully in all aspects of the union.

Course objectives
By the end of the course, officers will be able to:
- Review and develop union communications through self-analysis, peer feedback and coaching
- Develop a communications strategy to implement in practical situations
- Draw on practical communications experience when working within their own union
- Develop knowledge on specific communications areas
- Communicate more effectively with the union’s stakeholders
