Stadia Conference Over for another year, STADIA Conference 2006 facilitated over 160 delegates who had travelled to Southport for a combination of 40 workshops, table networks, guest speakers, as well as the annual Gala Dinner and general networking opportunities. A wonderful chance to catch up with old friends, meet with new and share experiences and best practise in sessions with presenters from your SU’s as well as the added bonus of welcoming session presenters from NCGE , NASES , SVE ,
Interchange Training , the Liverpool Echo and BUSA
A huge thank you goes to all who participated, whether you attended as a Trainer or participated as a delegate, your contribution to Stadia Conference is always valued and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank you all for making Stadia Conference 2006 so special this year. As promised, resources from the workshops can be found here under their relevant block from Conference. Resources are still flowing in, so please check the website regularly whilst we continue to update your resource packs for discussion back in your Students’ Unions around the country.

Opening Plenary
Di Gates : The Bgroup
A big thank you needs to go to Di Gates who opened Stadia Conference
Di would be happy to hear from anyone wanting to deliver creative marketing campaigns on campus, either directly from the SU or from central university departments. Proven campaigns for career services promotion, anti-plagiarism awareness, enterprise and start-up activity and student experience research can be easily repurposed to suit different university brands and environments; and original campaigns and communication technologies can be created to suit most student-interest areas. If you would like to chat with Di to bounce off ideas, chat through any communication problems you’re having at your university, or to see how The bgroup may be able to help with future activities, she’d be really happy to speak with you.
