The event

These ‘conversations’, between NUS, DIUS and a range of students, will aim to discuss issues relating to academic freedom. This event follows on from a talk delivered by Bill Rammell, the Minister of State for Lifelong Learning and Further and Higher Education to the Fabian Society and the publication of DIUS guidelines on “Promoting good campus relations, fostering shared values and preventing violent extremism in Universities and Higher Education Colleges.”

This event is aimed at students and student officers. Please forward details to the event to anyone who may be interested in attending.

The event is sure to be lively and engaging as Bill Rammell and Wes Streeting, VP Education and President-elect of NUS rigorously discuss their different viewpoints on this issue.
