The NUS SWD Campaign is committed to campaigning and fighting for equal human and civil rights for all students with disabilities. Part of the NUS SWD Campaign is focused upon raising awareness and campaigning for disabled rights such as the right to die that are often hugely stigmatised and often seen as controversial.
This briefing aims to give you an overview of what the issues are surrounding the area of Assisted Dying and why the NUS SWD Campaign supports this and the ‘Assisted Dying for the Terminally Ill’ (ADTI) Bill.
