DDA 2005: public sector conference

A one-day conference organised by the DRC for this September will provide information about the scope of the new duties for public authorities to work towards disability equality and provide practical advice on how to comply with the Act.

There will be keynote speeches from Minister for Disabled People Anne McGuire MP, and Bert Massie, Chairman of the DRC. Three leading public sector authorities will explain what they are doing in relation to access planning, engaging disabled citizens and devising a disability equality scheme.
