| NUS are running a campaign on students@work this year in conjunction with the TUC and the NUS Trades Union Partnerships Project. Later next month, we will be announcing a new protocol agreement with the Trades Union Congress which will enable us to help working students get access to their employment rights and the protection they deserve. As part of the launch of the protocol, we will be doing lots of press work around a piece of research that exposes the hours that students now have to work to support their studies due to financial hardship. We are therefore looking for case studies of students who have had their employment rights abused (are work long hours, have been paid below the minimum wage, work in poor conditions with low levels of health and safety etc). This will all help with profile raising and media work. If you are able to assist with case studies and have / know working students who are prepared to share their bad experiences, please get in touch. E-mail Joe Keenan, NUS Trade Union Partnerships Manager on joe.keenan@nus.org.uk Thanks Veronica
