Sabbatical Work/Life Balance Survey update
09/01/2006

Happy New Year everyone,

You may recall a letter in a mailing before the winter break asking you to fill out the Sabbatical Work/Life balance survey currently on the front page of Officeronline. So far I have received an excellent response to the survey with many of you re-affirming what I believed to be the situation. Furthermore there are some very interesting facts and figures arising from this piece of research that will form a comprehensive report to be published in February.

Firstly, I would like to encourage those of you yet to fill out the survey to do so before it closes on Friday 13th January. You can find the survey on a link on the front page of officeronline. Secondly, once I begin to pull the results together I would like to ask Officers to come forward to be part of the report. I need a series of case studies from a range of Union’s highlighting the differentials in pay, working hours and working conditions. If you would like to be part of the report as a case study please email me at stephen.brown@nus.org.uk or phone on 07749972564

I hope that you enjoyed the winter break and you are looking forward to your second terms in office,

Stephen
