| I’m not a big internet person and don’t spend too much time on the web, but I thought the following websites might serve as an indication of my politics and interests. www.thechildrenofswaziland.org is a charity that I support. Having visited the country and met with some of the orphaned and vulnerable children, I feel a great responsibility to contribute to the education of children caught up in the great HIV/AIDs epidemic. An education, essential for many obvious reasons, is one of the first steps toward the prevention of infection and towards the betterment of poverty stricken lives. www.bbk.ac.uk/phil is the department at which I am studying for my Mphil. I completed an undergraduate degree in philosophy at UCL and am now researching the metaphysics of fiction and its relevance to political theory. www.bicom.org.uk is not a site that necessarily represents my politics but does, in my opinion, provide some well researched resources that counterbalances the constant oversimplified messaging of much of the press. www.guardian.co.uk is my favourite newspaper. Again, it doesn’t always represent my politics (especially on middle eastern issues) but on the domestic/transatlantic front, I am mostly in agreement with its views and think it prints great film/theatre/art reviews!
