Against fascism and racism
06/06/2008
part of the stop the BNP flyer

The British National Party (BNP) made an electoral breakthrough on 1 May when it won a seat on the London assembly and made a net gain of ten more council seats across England.

There are two possible responses to this. One is to bury our heads in our hands. The other is to fight back. NUS is committed to challenging the BNP. That is why we have sponsored the national demonstration in London on Saturday 21 June. Our message is simple - stop the BNP now.

This march was called By Love Music Hate Racism, Unite Against Fascism and supported by NUS.

We ask all students’ unions, student groups and societies to support the protest.

Please come along and bring you friends and family - students’ union and society banners welcome.
