I am writing to you to let you know about Mature Students Conference in Coventry on Mon 28 – Tues 29 April.
There will be workshops on involving mature students in your union, childcare, part-time students, mature students in further education and guest speaker Paul Mackney from NIACE discussing adult learning and the skills agenda.
There will also be motions discussions around ELQs, adult education, mature students within the NUS governance review, mature students and student activities and much more.
You can register for the event here.
You do not have to be a mature student to attend, it is for people who represent mature students, or those who have responsibility for the issues.
Please do come and attend it is such a worthwhile event that allows us to explore issues of the under-represented.
Cheers and I hope to hear from you.
