Activist Academy
15/10/2007

Hi guys,

Activists Academy are upon us!

These events are all about generating activism on your campuses, how you engage with different groups of students within your campaigns, and how you communicate the messages of your campaigns past that initial layer of students who always get involved.

It focuses on the principle of ‘Organising’ rather than just ‘Servicing’ students, and allows you to explore ways to gain the most participation and involvement from students within your Union.

The course itself has major elements of the Action through Advocacy Course, so if you have been through that it may not be of the highest benefit for you to attend, but we suggest that you send 1 sabbatical officer, 1 staff member (be they membership services, welfare advice, student activities), and a student involved in the Union who you believe will be able to help deliver this for you and generate involvement.

The Venues and dates are below:

Activists Academy – Liverpool 29th – 30th October
