Clubs & Societies Training Day
05/07/2005

Tuesday 12th July, London

Are you struggling to fundraise for your club’s activities? Is your committee lacking motivation? Can you benefit from training focussed on supporting clubs and societies?

I’m pleased to confirm that last term’s successful training event where Pricewaterhouse-Coopers (PWC) partnered the NUS Black Students’ Campaign to run practical workshops and guidance seminars on a range of skills necessary for strong and vibrant clubs and societies, will be repeated on Tuesday 12th July.

Fundraising for your club, organising successful events and communicating with your members will all be covered in this intensive one-day programme to be held at the PWC headquarters.

The event will also give you an opportunity to meet other clubs and society officers, and those in the world of business, to share experiences and learn from partnership.

Uniquely, there is no cost to attend the day and a free buffet lunch is provided. In order to increase participation transport costs will be paid for all FE students taking part.

The number of places are, however, limited to 40 and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We had to turn away more than 100 students last term, so each union can only send up to two delegates.

Participants will be expected to attend the full day to make the most of the training.

If you want to take part please email me with the name of your delegate, any special access needs and dietary requirements. I will confirm if you have been allocated a place.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
