Students in Red Day of Action
14/11/2008

Wednesday 5th November was the NUS Action Day on Fairer Funding. We saw debates and campaigns up and down the country.

I attended the Kent University Fees and Fireworks Campaign, along side my esteemed colleague Susan Nash and the sabbs from Kent University. We picketed and flyered and got over 300 signatures from students in support of the fees Action Day.

It was very wet and muddy in one of Canterbury's many parks, the wind blew our banners right and left (breaking one of them) but that didn't stop us and thousands of students coming out for the fireworks display and campaign, which were spectacular.

Oh yeah and I forgot my gloves, so my hands were stiff as a rock! :(

But all for a good cause :)
