Kat is the youngest member of the NEC this year and is the youngest ever convenor of the LGB Campaign. Currently in the first year of her degree (Youth and Community Development) at DeMontfort University, Kat hopes that the LGB campaign will get stronger through being a student led campaign.

As well as co convening the LGB Campaign as a whole Kat has the specific responsibility of women's representation and Lesbian, Bisexual and Trans women's rights.

Kat started in the student movement as an FE student governor and FE LGB Officer and believes that the future power of the movement lies in FE not just HE.
