Happy 2008…time to get down to business! With a new year upon us I am now full with excitement, as the review of variable tuition fees is getting closer. This is where NUS-USI’s lobbying kicks in… What do we want? NO FEES! When do we want it? Two years ago! As you may have heard the demonstration at Stormont (NI), in November, gained great coverage and, a fortnight later, a meeting with the Minister for Employment and Learning helped us to highlight student issues in Northern Ireland. Lets hope that 2008 is a successful year for the student movement.
