| - Monday should have been a fun packed day, management team, JNC, Co-op housing Presentation, ATL question time on schools reforms. Yet when I walk in the morning without really being able to breathe, attempted to walk down the stairs and nearly fainted, I resolved that it would be much wiser for me to head back to my bed and sleep. I don’t like taking sick days, it’s not something I do, but that Monday I would have been no use to anybody.
- Tuesday and Wednesday was NE/NW Presidential Residential in Wigan
- Thursday morning was an interview with the Times Higher trying to deflect the stories that had recently come out in the press, more on that later, lunch with Gail Spicer Scott, Mtg with the AUT over possible industrial action. Followed by far too much white wine in a pub in Camden.
- Friday was the on course mtg, organized by Julio on creating a 20 20 vision for education. A day of challenging our own ideas and assertions. It will be interesting to see what the NEC who didn’t see fir to attend will make of the transcripts.
- Saturday was spent with the FE gang, planning the next few months of the campaign, and how FE stays high on the agenda with new elected officers.
- Sunday was spent in Centro 3, Mandela Street, desperately trying to catch up.
