It's time for me to leave NUS
30/06/2006

It’s time for me a leave NUS. It’s been a long time, 9 years in the student movement, 5 years in NUS and I am now ready to move on to a new challenge.

I’m leaving NUS to go work at the Centre for Excellence in Leadership - working on embedding the FE White Paper recommendations on learner voice into the sector, as well as looking at equality and diversity. I’m really pleased to be staying in the sector that I love so much and is genuinely more transformational than any other part of education.

Thank you to everyone that I have worked with, argued with, and won with. It’s been an incredible experience and I hope I can honestly say that I’ve really left my mark on NUS and the student movement as a whole, certainly my life has been completely transformed.

My last Guardian article will be online next week for final leaving thoughts but for now thankyou once again and good luck.
