November:

10th WMANUS Winter Conference - I updated the area on the ratifications of extraordinary conference

11th - Went down to Bournemouth to work with the further education Unions in the South East and South West at the FE Essentials training residential.

Tuesday 16th – National Council, this was in Birmingham and an opportunity to meet all the regional council reps from around the UK

Friday 26th – Sunday 28th – LGB Conference, in Leicester. Had a really good conference. I met lots of officers and reps from over the UK at the bi-annual event. We passed excellent policy on the blood service and section 28 among other policy. Oh yes, and of course experienced the joys of Leicester’s night life dancing on stage til 3 am.
