What I've been up to
06/09/2005

NUS Policy Dictates that every 4 weeks I need to outline the work I have been undertaking in my role as National LGBT Officer (Open Place).

I havent made that many CM visits yet, mainly because I haven't received any invites. If you need your NEC LGBT Officer to come and support you in your work, I am more than willing to do so.

I have met with:

Terrance Higgins Trust
GMB (Trade Union) ShoutGroup (LGBT)

NUS Recognised Meetings I have been involved with:

LGBT Committee Meeting & Training
Students with Disabilities Committee
National Executive Committee
Welfare Task Group
Education Task Group
Equal Ops Task Group

LGBT Priority Campaign:

Officers and Committee Reps Planning Day
LGBT Priority Campaign Action Meetings.

NUS Priority Campaigns:

Education Priority Campaign Meeting
Student Activities Campaign Meeting

Other Committee Meetings:

X-Liberation Committee

Prides:

Brighton Pride
Oxford Pride
Manchester Pride (Fri-Sun inc)
