Helen Symons is Vice President of Welfare. Helen is particularly interested in student right issues, such as the provision of safe and affordable housing, free healthcare and the right to decent pay and protection in the workplace.

She got involved in the student movement through the Liberation Campaigns and became a Women's Officer whilst working towards a degree in European Studies at University College London.
