Interested in justice, truth & reconciliation? Stopping mass murder, rape & pillage in Darfur? Preventing ethnic cleansing around the world? Campaigning to save lives?

Aegis Students would like to warmly welcome you to attend its annual summer conference.

Aegis Students is an exciting new movement that aims to raise awareness of genocide, and to support the campaigns of Aegis Trust, the UK’s independent genocide prevention organisation. The movement is set to expand rapidly in the coming years. In the past year Aegis Societies have been launched in several different universities including Oxford and Cambridge.

The conference aims to inform, equip and motivate students to campaign against genocide. There is no charge to attend. The morning and early afternoon sessions will focus on Aegis Societies and student campaigning. The later afternoon session will look at the future of genocide prevention in the light of the Darfur crisis.

If you are interested in attending please contact the National Aegis Student Coordinator: jonathan.bower@st-hughs.ox.ac.uk

Places are in limited supply and attendance is on a first come, first served basis.
