Theme and Waffles

I wasn't exactly sure what the purpose of a blog is, or how it is supposed to achieve its aims - so I looked around online at some blogging examples.

I'm still not sure.

They range from the obscure to the even more obscure, average to outrageous, random nonsense to incisive thoughts on every subject under the sun. Human minds, all of them great in some way, sharing their thoughts on the great electronic ether that is the internet, waxing lyrical via the wonders of modern technology. All to be interpreted by the reader in whatever way they choose and all have some kind of theme.

I am fairly certain that my theme will be NUS-focused, with sprinklings of random thoughts throw in - depending on how I feel on any particular day. You should be aware that I am, at times, inclined to waffle - for varying lengths of time - on anything that is going through my brain at that specific moment. From toast crumbs in the butter (or low-fat spread), to globalisation of the economy and everything in between.

N.B. Notably more waffling occurs at the toast crumbs end of the scale.
