Blog and Geekcode

As someone with a good knowledge of the internal workings of the average home computer and a degree in Computer Science (University of Essex), I suppose it would be fair for you to assume to some extent (I've never liked assumptions - I try to never assume anything, I think it breeds stereotypes) two things; that I

a) am probably, on some level, quite geeky
b) have blogged or written about myself online before.

Sadly not.
Neither of these is true.

Although I did once work out my geekcode (a good few years ago)

-----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK-----
Version: 3.12
GCS d- s+ a21 C+() U P L+ E? W++ N o?
K- w O+ !M V? PS++ PE- Y PGP- t 5- X !R tv+
b+++ DI-- D+ G e++ h-- r y?
------END GEEK CODE BLOCK------

This probably isn't an entirely accurate reflection of me now, but you'll get the idea if you visit www.geekcode.com or www.ebb.org/ungeek for more information.

And I do own my own domain on the internet www.darrenjones.me.uk - but that only has a few quotes I find thoughtful and inspiring.

Maybe one day I'll get around to putting online the requisite photos and writing the inevitable CV (ugh!), but not for a while.

Right now, and for the foreseeable future, there is a world out there that needs changing.
