Welfare Zone Lots of positive debate and NUS now has policy on Anti Racism: Challenging Racism on Campus and in Our Communities, Religious Dress, Tackling Antisemitism, Students in the Community, The Housing Act, Council Tax, Bullying, Childcare in HE and FE, and Pregnancy in HE and FE. In addition the NUS No Platform policy has been immortalised into the constitution. Education Zone In a constructive and exciting zone delegates debated and passed motions on all aspects of education, including the Further Education Bill and White Paper, Adult Education, Plagiarism and Collusion, Medicine and Dentistry, Placements, Recording and Measuring Student Achievements, Franchised Higher Education Students and Post Graduate Life Finances Lots of interesting questions for Joe Rukin but the estimates, including a cut in affiliation fees for member unions, are now passed Strong & Active Unions Zone Only 1 motion discussed so far, on NUS Governance- a full review of NUS' structures will now be carried out and delegates adopted a set of guiding principles for a full review. In addition the VP Education will become the VP Higher Education and School VI Form Councils will be eligible to join NUS
