Gemma Tumelty re-elected National President of NUS

Gemma Tumelty was today (Wednesday) re-elected National President of the National Union of Students by over two thirds of voting delegates at NUS’ annual conference.


Barber opens NUS conference with call for new age of activism

Today (27th March) in his keynote speech, Brendan Barber, TUC General Secretary told the National Union of Students annual conference that young people need to unite with workers to fight the culture of low pay.
