Regional conferences week has been interesting, but yet completely exhausting
15/02/2005

Regional conferences week has been interesting, but yet completely exhausting. Having held a very successful LGB Committee meeting in York I headed to Hull to start the weeks tour of the eastern side of the country, driving to Loughborough, Norwich and finally Brighton. I made a presentation to all those in attendance about the work of the LGB campaign and our forthcoming plans, and it was encouraging to see so many receptive sabbatical and non-sabbatical officers out there.

I’ve got lots of new contacts and arranged too many meeting to mention, all from this weeks regional conferences. Next week I’ll be going to visit APU in Chelmsford to help them create an LGBT society and the week after I’ll be in Essex for their LGBT question time event with all the perspective parliamentary candidates in the forthcoming election.
