It was amazing to see such vibrant campaigning plans in Liverpool, as well as the in-depth knowledge they had of LGBT issues
15/02/2005

The past few weeks have been fairly busy. Last week I managed to get out of the office to visit some LGBT groups and societies, ending up in the North West at Liverpool Guild. It was amazing to see such vibrant campaigning plans in Liverpool, as well as the in-depth knowledge they had of LGBT issues. I’m sure their forthcoming events and campaigns will be wonderful and I wish them good luck on behalf of the national campaign. I look forward to seeing them and the other groups in the region at the North West meeting in the next few weeks.

In other news we have finally completed and published the campaign briefing on the national blood service, which is now available for download. Copies are being sent to all students unions, marked for the attention of LGBT Officers. Even if I do say so myself, the blood service campaign briefing is an amazing resource for local LGBT groups, and I hope everyone finds it very useful in their campaigning activity. We also have posters available that can be downloaded or ordered from us directly. If anyone needs any help with their campaigning please feel free to contact either Kat Louis or myself.
