LGB winter conference was this year held in Leicester. As anyone will tell you these conferences are always filled with a mix of drama, fun and melodrama, and this years event was certainly no exception. We had some huge problems, which somehow left us without any functioning standing orders, and there was a general lack of accountability time set out in the agenda. People can have my firm assurances that I will make it my business to lobby steering in order to ensure that we don’t have these problems again.

This being said, I did enjoy much of this years conference, and I have received some favourable responses in my inbox today. If you have any concerns about conferences or comments about how we should go about changing our structures please contact me and I will do my up most to help: ben.miskell@nus.org.uk
