16/02/2005

Today I have been gathering together all the required information and pieces of paper for our LGBT Officer specific mailing due to go out later this week. We have lots of pieces of paper and briefings due to go out, including; the national blood service campaign guide and posters (mentioned in pervious posts), the trans welfare briefing, trans postcards and many other things. The mailing also contains further information on the forthcoming set of LGB campaign regional meetings. People can also download all of our resources from the LGB sections of both NUS websites.

I am particularly proud that for the first time in the history of the campaign, we have been able to bring together a co-ordinated list of regional meetings and distribute them to the membership. This new way of working has allowed us to send out information to regional officers, keeping them updated about our activities, and get the information about our events filtered down throughout the student movement.

Thanks to all those sabbaticals that volunteered their Unions and Universities as a venue for the regional meetings, it really is appreciated!

Lets hope they go well!

I look forward to seeing you at one of our regional meetings
