Welsh Assembly - campaign plans (6 December 2007)
27/11/2007

Thursday 6 December

We are holding a photo stunt event outside the National Assembly for Wales on the 6 December on the issue of graduate debt. The ‘Drenched by Debt’ stunt will hopefully feature a representative from all the political parties in Wales giving their view of graduate debt and we will have a chance to put accross the view that the threashold on repayments must increase. In the run up to the day their are postcards available for you to engage with students who may not be able to come down to the bay and get their thoughts on the graduate debt situation. I would then urge all participants to arrange to meet their AMs in the afternoon and show the level of support we have on this issue.

If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me in the run up to Winter Council for clarification; you should also feel free to contact me at any time.

On the whole I think we have had a very sucessful few months in NUS Wales (http://www.nusonline.co.uk/wales/269702.aspx), getting the issues accross to a wide range of partners and re-engaging with the membership. I look forward to the completion of this progressive year and hope the future is even brighter!

In unity
