They often comment (not always favourably!) on the work on NUS. www.drc.org.uk Lots of information and accessible resources here from the Disability Rights Commission www/skill.org.uk A fantastic organisation that we work closely with – SKILL specifically represents disabled students. www.mentalhealthalliance.org.uk We are a member of this coalition of organisations that work together to further the rights of people with mental ill health. www.bbc.co.uk/ouch A disability magazine run by the BBC, it also produces a podcast that is not for the faint hearted! www.rnid.org.uk/ The RNID has some brilliant resources on education and access to education – along with relevant information on benefits and campaigns. www.stonewall.org.uk Stonewall have been working for some time to further the rights of LGBT people in society and have run some incredibly successful campaigns. www.careleavers.com I’m proud to be a founder member of the Care Leavers Association who fight for the rights of care leavers. www.amnesty.org I’ve been a member for Amnesty for many years and participated in a number of their important campaigns. news.bbc.co.uk Its not the most exciting link, but it’s the website I visit most often!
