| The abolition of the cap on full-fee places, announced in the budget, has prompted criticism that Australians from poor backgrounds will miss out on a tertiary education as universities opt to lure more full fee-paying foreign students and postgraduates. Already at least one institution, Canberra University, has indicated it will seek to increase the proportion of full fee-paying students enrolled in its business degrees. Full article.
