Help for Freshers' Week!

Term is fast approaching – and lots of you will be beginning to think about freshers' fairs and activities at the start of term. The Women’s Campaign can help you recruit loads of freshers to your women’s group.

National Women's Officer Liv Bailey, or a member of Women's Committee, can come along to help out at your freshers' fair, or at an event in freshers' week. Send Liv an email with the following information, and the women's campaign will do their best to meet your requirements:

  • the date of your event;
  • the nature of your event (e.g. a stall, film night, debate);
  • what role you would like me (or a committee member) to play at the event.

Secondly, the campaign has prepared ‘freshers' packs’ with a selection of all of our materials. These packs include new Pop-art A2 posters, Flyers for the Sister ACTivist events,  ‘Feminist’ and ‘Stop Violence Against Women’ badges and A3 Feminist Histories, Feminist Futures posters. If you would like to be sent a freshers' pack, please email Liv with your name, union and the address that it should be sent to.
