Wolverhampton receives underspend chequeFollowing on from NUS’ bid to have universities return the under spend on bursaries, University of Wolverhampton Students' Union has had success on its campus this week (11 February).
“We handed the cheque to the [vice chancellor for] student affairs today and she handed us a cheque for £1.3 million to symbolise the money as it was spent on student issues. One of the things they spent the money on was CCTV around campus which is one of my priority campaigns and they have just committed a further 250k to CCTV around campus and the city.”
