• understand what we mean by liberation;
• understand the history of the liberation campaigns in NUS and their current structures;
• understand why liberation is important for each of the four NUS campaigns - black students, disabled students, LGBT and women;
• explore what the current campaign issues are;
• undertake practical activity in their union to support liberation.
