Quality Matters

a sign of quality training

11 September 2008 | Palace Hotel, Manchester

We are pleased to invite you to an exciting one day conference on everything 'quality'. For the first time, NUS, in partnership with QAA, UUK and GuildHE, is bringing the experts together for a day of debate, discussion and workshops on issues including

  1. student written submissions
  2. course reps
  3. work based learning
  4. the Bologna Process
  5. HE in FE
  6. The internal quality work of institutions.

There will be speakers from the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), the Higher Education Academy (HEA) as well as experts from universities, colleges and students’ unions.

The event is open to both staff and officers from students’ unions and there are sessions and workshops relevant to both. It will also be a fantastic opportunity for rep coordinators, education officers and others to share ideas and good practice and learn more about the wider national and international context of the work that they do.

The conference will take place on Thursday 11 September at the Palace Hotel, Manchester and is free to all delegates.

We look forward to seeing you.
